Premium Gas in my 2001 Honda Civic?

Today at my local Exon station they has regular, plus, and premium gas all for the same price in honor of fathers day. The guy at the gas station told me it would be good for my car once or twice to clean the fuel injectors. I just got regular because that's what my manual says to put in. For future reference would it be bad for my car to put in higher octane gas then what it's used to?
