One of my best friends won't talk to me?

I would absolutely not react in the same way at all! If anything she should have said "hope you get well soon" and been concerned about you if she were 'really' your friend. The attitude she should have had is, 'oh well, these things happen and we can always do it next year or I can find someone to fill in'. If I were you, I wouldn't be contacting this girl at all, she isn't worth your time and she should be the one trying to contact you, not the other way around. Oh and get well soon :)
